Group Exhibition // Lys_Objekt

Soundabsorbing reflectors, indirect lightreflections, luminous flowers in crosswinds. The exhibition is full of subtle effects and has light, materialilty and a large number of artistic and designrelated approaches as starting point.

The gallery has invited 6 designers, architects and artists to participate and they have experimented with LED, traditional light sources, different materials and many different formats. There is no obligations in relation to the purpose being a lamp, a sculpture, an optical material or if the object can be categorized in other ways.

All the luminous objects are realized in participation with Louis Poulsen Lighting.

The creative output of the exhibition is based on the individual praxis of the participants. Amanda Betz is an architect and designs lamps for Le Klint and has participated in several exhibitions. Violise Lunn is couture designer and paper artist. Ane Lykke is educated designer and focuses on the interaction between light and architecture. Cecilie Bendixen is an architect/ph.d and works with soundabsorbing constructions. Christian Flindt is a designer and designs furniture and different typesof industrial design. Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt is originally a ceramist and focuses now on furniture and luminous sculptures.

The stage is set for a new and different way of approaching the qualities of light and the use of materials in relation to light.
